Gardens, Beauty, Debt, Software & a Good RubDown

Now that you have your taxes filled and the check is in the mail, (you did sign the check didn't you?), I have some other numbers to fill your head:

Americans spent $428 on home gardening projects in 2007, up 7% from the prior year, reports the National Gardening Association.

2.

Women have an average of 12 health and beauty products in their medicine cabinet or vanity, and 42% say it's overcrowded, per Harris Interactive.


3.

29% of Americans aged 62 or older think it will take them more than 10 years to pay off their accumulated debt during retirement, according to Financial Freedom Senior Funding.

4.

About 20% of people who bought a computer with a trial version of a program bundled with their machine eventually bought the program, reports NPD Group.

5.

51% of hotel spa revenues come from massage services, says PKF Hospitality Research.
