Ever see the movie, The Money Pit with Tom Hanks and Shelly Long? If not, this money pit is a dream home that turned into a nightmare home...(a real pit that they kept throwing money into.)
Businesses that are not yet mature can be money pits too. All too often I have seen new businesses that are underfunded and then go under after bleeding the investors of their life savings, second mortgage and their credit rating is a negative number!
I try to help people from doing this. All too often, mistakes are made that can be avoided. Outside perspective from an experienced expert can help. Not that I am an expert, but I have collected a lot of wisdom by working with hundreds of business owners over the past 20 years.
Having been a manager and having to depend on others to be successful can be nerve racking. But what doesn't kill you makes you stronger and hopefully wiser.
